Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
- Cash Handling: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Clerical Duties: Perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
