The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects, meeting deadlines and budget targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project strategies, including risk assessment, financial objectives, and communication plans.
- Lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met, and issues are resolved promptly.
- Prepare and negotiate project claims with clients, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
- Ensure project closure, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in heavy industry, preferably in hydroelectric power or energy production.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with accelerated timelines.
- Leadership and team management skills, with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in French and English.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (an asset).
- PMP certification (an asset).
