Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Program Director, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate and organize events, meetings, and conferences, including arranging logistics, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation and one-year post-secondary education with courses or formal training in word processing, spreadsheet, database, web updating applications, office procedures, and secretarial practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and support.
