About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Think Painting Ltd. as a key member of our interior finishing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a professional finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
  • Wall Covering Specialist: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Health and Safety: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate work schedules to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet project demands.
