About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company achieves the correct margins on work by accurately estimating the time and cost of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a machine shop background at the supervisory level or existing experience as a Sales Estimator or Sales Engineer. You will be responsible for taking engineering drawings, deciding the method of manufacture, and working out the time and cost to ensure the company's success.

This is a challenging role that requires high levels of numeracy and computer literacy. You will be working with a varied customer base, including complex one-off and large batch projects. If you have a strong understanding of subcontract machining and a machine shop environment, we encourage you to apply.
