Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Wildstone Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex HVAC systems in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission new HVAC systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis to identify and resolve operating issues in industrial and dew point applications
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including refrigerant recharging and system calibration
  • Assemble and install refrigeration components, such as motors, controls, and piping, using hand and power tools
  • Measure and cut piping, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Install, troubleshoot, and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
  • Startup HVAC systems and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems
  • Boiler startups experience is an asset
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Must possess Interprovincial Refrigeration Journeyperson ticket
  • Minimum years' experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems
  • HVAC/Gas fitting experience is preferred
  • Must possess own tools necessary to complete HVAC diagnosis and repair
  • Solid understanding of modern construction practices
  • Understanding of construction documents
  • Must possess a valid Class Drivers License and be insurable
  • Knowledge of construction costs and budgets
  • A strong safety record and the ability to work with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Plumbing, Sheet Metal, or Fuel Oil Technician also an added asset
