Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Deep and Thorough Cleaning Services Inc. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and odor-free environment.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance.
  • Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a visually appealing environment.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Security and Safety: Work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
