Overview:
Greenfield Global Inc. is seeking a Financial Operations Controller to oversee financial management and reporting within our manufacturing facilities.

The Financial Operations Controller will be accountable for the financial integrity of the operations, ensuring precise and prompt accounting practices, compliance with local tax regulations, and the protection of company assets.

This role involves supervising the accounting teams across multiple sites, focusing on delivering high-quality financial insights and operational data.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
  • Collect and analyze monthly financial and operational metrics, ensuring timely completion of month-end journal entries.
  • Develop financial analyses to assess plant expenditures and provide actionable recommendations for decision-making.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency.
  • Implement and uphold internal controls to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Analyze financial data to extract insights related to operational performance, including efficiency and equipment utilization.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the plant.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate valuations of inventory for financial reporting purposes.
  • Support inventory reporting and conduct cycle count analyses.
  • Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Monitor capital expenditures against budget and provide financial analysis for new projects.
  • Conduct evaluations on equipment leasing versus purchasing to recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Analyze freight costs and provide insights for cost management.
  • Assist corporate accounting with various projects, including tax data collection and insurance renewals.
  • Promote and support goals related to Safety, Environmental Stewardship, Product Quality, Customer Service, and Continuous Improvement.
