Job Summary

Thermo King Eastern Canada is seeking a skilled Refrigerated Transport Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration units on trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose refrigeration units on trucks and trailers to identify and repair any issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration units, including replacing parts and performing general repairs.
  • Review work orders, listen to operator complaints, and repair defects, including removing, replacing, testing for refrigerant leaks, assembling, and installing parts and components.

Requirements

  • Experience and/or training in CVC system mechanics is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanics, preferably in refrigerated transport.
  • Certification in Ozone-Alert is desired.
  • Tools with a storage case.
  • Valid driver's license.
