About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembler and Tester to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As an Assembler and Tester, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of aircraft engines, ensuring the highest quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble aircraft engines and sub-assemblies according to assembly floor sheets (AFS), adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of the product at all times, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Execute engine pre-dress, test, and post-dress according to assembly floor sheets (AFS), documenting all activities to ensure smooth workflow and coordination between shifts.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure tools, equipment, and parts are clean, free from Foreign Object Damage (FOD), and properly stored.
  • Assist in troubleshooting during assembly, test, or disassembly of engines, performing tasks such as cleaning hardware and contributing to FOD prevention and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals, adhering to shift schedules and alternate shifts as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of technical college in aircraft trades.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the aircraft field preferred.
  • Awareness of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S), 6S, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, result-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
