Job Overview
We are currently in search of a Senior System Safety Engineer with substantial experience in safety-critical embedded systems to enhance our innovative team and aid in the advancement of cutting-edge electric and autonomous vehicles for both on-road and off-road applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop safety and security assessments in compliance with standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and IEC 62061.
- Execute hazard identification and risk evaluation to uncover and alleviate potential safety risks throughout the entire system lifecycle.
- Establish safety objectives and requirements for system components and subsystems, encompassing both hardware and software elements.
- Conduct safety evaluations, including FMEA, FTA, DFA, and fault injection, to assess system safety efficacy and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Engage in technical discussions as part of business development initiatives.
- Review functional safety and cybersecurity deliverables for compliance and quality.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in system safety engineering, particularly within the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in hazard analysis and risk assessment methodologies (HARA / HAZOP).
- Expertise in system safety analysis techniques, particularly FMEA.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following standards: ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, IEC 62061.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on client engagement.
