Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
  • Respond to incidents for tenants if required
  • Deter criminal activity
  • Engage in visible deterrence through your presence and adhering to security procedures
  • Perform interior and exterior patrols with G-Track at the premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
  • Enforce property regulations and city by-laws on the client's site
  • Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
  • Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
  • Perform environmental checks - water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises, etc.
  • Complete daily reports and incident reports
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Must be able to work evenings
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
