Job Title: Stylist, Hair

At Straight Razor Touch Barbershop, we are seeking a skilled and creative Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair to meet their individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and recommend personalized hair care plans
  • Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments to promote healthy hair growth and maintenance
  • Shampoo customers' hair and provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches to perfection
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces to ensure a natural and polished look
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to achieve the desired look and feel
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with clients' physical features and preferences
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the beauty industry, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment
