The Mid-Level R&D Engineer plays a vital role in the advancement of software solutions and associated systems. In this position, the engineer will work alongside a team of skilled professionals to grasp client needs and achieve development goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Engages in moderately complex development tasks, encompassing the design, execution, upkeep, testing, and documentation of software components and subsystems. Applies and adheres to industry best practices. Conducts moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for designated products. Investigates issues identified by quality assurance or product support and formulates solutions. Comprehends the marketing demands for a product, including target environments, performance standards, and competitive factors. Operates under the general guidance of a development manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with two years of experience, or a Master’s degree. Practical experience with unstructured mesh generation algorithms for finite-element/control-volume solvers, CAD systems, and foundational knowledge of CAD topology and geometry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Technical expertise and experience with C++, object-oriented design principles, and GUI frameworks such as OpenGL, QT, or MFC. Background in a large-scale commercial software development setting. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Capacity to learn swiftly and collaborate effectively with a geographically dispersed team.
