Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at Always Evolving Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced personnel.
  • Assist medical examiners in charge with tasks as needed.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications using specialized equipment.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on construction sites.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction operations.
Work Environment

As a Construction Trades Helper, you will work in various locations, including construction sites, warehouses, and other related facilities. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling capacity.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
