POSITION SUMMARY:

Startec Compression & Process and Startec Service is actively seeking a Sales Executive – HVAC Services . This role is pivotal in driving the sales of HVAC service, maintenance, retrofits, and contract agreements. The selected candidate will leverage their technical expertise, organizational skills, and service acumen to assist both new and existing clients in identifying optimal solutions tailored to their requirements, while also contributing to the overall revenue enhancement of the organization. The Sales Executive will engage in marketing initiatives, strategic planning, and the technical advancement of products and services.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (Weighting 40%)
  • Cultivate new business opportunities within primary product lines.
  • Employ established sales techniques to identify and approach potential clients.
  • Generate estimates, including sourcing of parts and equipment.
  • Deliver comprehensive quotations and proposals for new and renewing service agreements.
  • Document and track all sales opportunities within the CRM system.
ADMINISTRATION
  • Provide weekly sales performance reports to the sales team.
  • Manage maintenance agreement structures, renewals, equipment inventories, and checklists.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (Weighting 40%)
  • Engage in project initiation meetings with the Service HVAC Coordinator and technicians.
  • Foster long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with current clients, addressing any complaints, issues, or performance challenges identified through client interactions.
COORDINATION
  • Conduct daily travel and customer interactions to support client relationships and needs.
  • Keep client lists and contacts updated, documenting activities within the CRM system.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT (Weighting 20%)
  • Provide weekly sales reports detailing services sold, quotes issued, and pending sales.
  • Record and monitor all sales opportunities within the CRM system, following up on their status.
COLLABORATION & TEAM COORDINATION
  • Participate in project initiation meetings with the Service HVAC Coordinator and technicians.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales and service operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, EIT, HVAC Technician, or equivalent experience in commercial HVAC services.
  • A minimum of 3+ years in a trade role and/or 3 - 5 years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success as a Sales Executive or similar position within the commercial HVAC sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial HVAC systems, components, and applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
