About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power Engineer IV / Maintenance Worker V to join our Plant & Maintenance Services team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a power plant or any low-pressure steam plant by managing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on boilers, air conditioning units, emergency power, and other related equipment, all in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Perform trades tasks approaching the journeyman level in various areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting.
  • Supervise Maintenance Workers and other designated staff.
Work Schedule

This is a casual position with potential shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
