Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will serve as the principal administrative officer of the organization, overseeing daily operations, management, leadership, and strategic direction while guiding internal and external collaborators in alignment with the vision, mission, and values of CICan.

The CEO will act as the primary representative of the organization within the broader community, serving as its chief spokesperson and leading initiatives of the CICan Foundation.

Additionally, the CEO will provide visionary leadership in the development and execution of the organization's Strategic Plan and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. The CEO will also navigate changes in enrollment trends while ensuring financial stability and optimal resource allocation.

Qualifications

Experience and Credentials

  • A minimum of a graduate degree or an undergraduate degree coupled with substantial experience in management or education;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of educational systems and challenges, both within Canada and internationally;
  • A distinguished record of achievement in progressively more complex leadership roles;
  • Experience in managing external relations effectively;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and French.
