Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Marokena Crepe Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafe, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the cafe's budget to optimize profits and ensure financial stability.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Develop and implement menu plans and pricing strategies to meet customer demands and maintain profitability.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and maintain high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, ingredients, and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our cafe maintains a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for food and other supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
