About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at LAKESHORE RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
