Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Engineer to join our team in Southwestern Ontario. As a key member of our land development infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership on a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for various land development projects, including subdivision and site plan type developments.
  • Coordinate with technical resources within the land development group as project demands.
  • Preparation and review of engineering drawings sets, technical memos, reports, construction plans, and specifications.
  • Provide leadership on projects, including acting as the project's stamping engineer on a wide variety of projects.
  • Writing reports and design briefs for submission purposes to agencies.
  • Liaising with clients.
  • Review and issuance of construction cost estimates and detailed construction specifications.

Requirements

  • 10+ years minimum industry experience.
  • Bachelor's University Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is an asset.
  • Experience with managing residential subdivision and/or ICI developments.
  • Experienced with standard analysis programs, Microsoft Office programs, Hydraulic and transient modelling software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other associated programs as desired.
  • Exhibit strong work ethic and high degree of motivation.
  • Experience with writing and reviewing technical reports.
  • Committed to technical excellence.
