Job SummaryThe Accident and Health Claims Adjudicator is a critical role within our organization, responsible for the timely and accurate adjudication of Life/Specialty claims. This includes Critical Illness, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Personal Accident, and Business Credit Card Travel claims.
Key Responsibilities- Adjudicate Life/Specialty claims in a timely and accurate manner
- Investigate and analyze claims data to make informed decisions
- Interact with clients, claimants, and field staff to exchange information and resolve claims
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accident and Health Adjudication
- Licensed or working towards CIP designation
- Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field considered an asset
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency in computer systems and software
