About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at AGM Automation Systems Inc. as a key member of our custom machine shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
  • Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a custom machine shop environment
  • Proficiency in operating drill presses, engine lathes, milling machines, sawing machine, and surface grinders
  • Experience with repetitive machining operations, including milling
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliability and ability to work independently
