About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at KAYBEE FOODS CANADA INC. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.
