About the Role

Soni & Sons Construction is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from trucks and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Pouring Materials: Assist in mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt, and spreading them evenly.
  • Assisting with Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assisting with Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as assisting with demolishing buildings.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Removing Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, and direct traffic at or near construction sites as required.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual Dexterity: You will need to have good manual dexterity and be able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: You will be required to handle heavy loads, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Team Player: As a Construction Laborer, you will be working as part of a team, and will need to be a reliable and hardworking individual.
