We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded organization that values individual ideas and strategies. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a motivated individual to join us based out of Brampton, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently match available freight loads with suitable carrier options.
  • Build and track freight loads in our Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Find availability, cover FTL shipments for Account Managers, and arrange transportation.
  • Dispatch load confirmations to carriers and fleet dispatchers, and orchestrate pick-ups and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
  • Continuously review Load costs, transportation rates, and/or prices of different equipment to minimize costs.
  • Maximize brokerage coverage by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Business, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • 1-3 years of freight forwarding/3PL experience.
  • Previous administrative logistics, land transportation, and service experience preferred.
  • Experience working with FTL shipments.
  • Excellent Customer Service and geographical knowledge within North America an asset.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations for over the road and international shipments.
  • Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Must have good negotiation skills, be persuasive, and energetic.
  • Possess and utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  • Exhibit good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applications.
