JOHAL DRYWALL is seeking a dedicated Construction Support Specialist to enhance our workforce. The successful candidate will possess a background in construction and be prepared to engage in physically intensive activities. This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative team in an outdoor environment.

Position Overview
  • No formal education or certification necessary
  • Prior experience is beneficial
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Transporting and handling construction supplies
    • Setting up and taking down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and safety barriers
    • Mixing, pouring, and distributing materials such as concrete and asphalt
    • Assisting with drilling and blasting operations at construction sites
    • Supporting the framing of structures, erecting walls, and constructing roofs
    • Clearing debris and waste from construction areas
    • Operating machinery and equipment utilized in construction tasks
  • Work conditions involve outdoor settings, elevated work, and exposure to dust
  • This is a permanent role with a commitment of 40 hours per week
  • Proficiency in English is required
