About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at RIAA's E&A Services Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Accounting Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, post journal entries, and prepare financial statements, including trial balances and reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including tax returns, to support business decision-making.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize accounting software, MS Access, MS Excel, and other relevant tools to perform tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English, and the employee will be expected to work as a team player with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
