Position Overview:
A Project Manager plays a crucial role in transforming a client's vision into reality.

They are accountable for the planning, oversight, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to the defined scope, timeline, and budget.

Client management and business development are integral to their responsibilities, as revenue generation and client satisfaction are essential for achieving project profitability.

By facilitating new constructions or aiding in renovations, a Project Manager contributes to enhancing lives in our community by delivering healthy, safe, and sustainable structures.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of proposals for high-value, complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Collaborate with Team Leads and Engineering Managers to allocate resources effectively for projects.

- Review project contracts to ensure that scope and risks are adequately addressed in relation to project delivery.

- Create, implement, and adjust project work plans as necessary.

- Oversee the daily management of large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary projects, identifying any changes that may affect the scope, fees, or schedule.

- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to ensure collaboration and achievement of deliverables.

- Effectively apply our methodologies and enforce regulatory standards to guarantee that project documentation is complete, organized, peer-reviewed, and tracked using Project Management Software.


Financial Management:

- Manage project budgets, revenue recognition, invoicing, and accounts receivable. Follow up with clients regarding outstanding invoices as necessary.

- Champion project management processes and technologies, whether as a primary consultant or a subcontractor.

- Ensure safety standards are upheld by reviewing and signing Job Hazard Assessments.

- Oversee project closeout, including initiating a project profile and requesting client reference letters, as well as conducting internal and external lessons learned sessions.


Regional Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Client Development Managers and Regional Business Managers to secure new business opportunities and keep the Regional Leadership Team informed of project progress.

- Assist in achieving regional revenue targets by pursuing proposal work with the Regional Leadership Team.

- Engage with multiple clients regularly, fostering strong relationships and managing expectations.

- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.


Qualifications:
- PMP certification, P.Eng., or C.E.T. designation.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Consulting Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering project delivery.

Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced understanding of revenue models and cost-to-completion projections, making informed decisions accordingly.
- Strong grasp of various pricing models and billing procedures.
- Ability to facilitate complex team dynamics and client meetings effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating active listening, respect for diverse opinions, and clear communication.
- Superior presentation and project management capabilities.
- Proficient in identifying and defining problems and solutions through data collection and analysis.
- Results-oriented and decisive, with the ability to delegate effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Experienced in planning and achieving ambitious yet attainable goals for team members to successfully deliver projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of contractual negotiations and associated risks.
- Lead by example in conducting project audits to ensure adherence to processes for other project managers.
- Provide experienced leadership in a business environment.
- Familiarity with WE systems and programs, including Power BI, Vision, Office 365, and PandaDoc.
