Job Summary

POWER ONE ELECTRICALS LTD. is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Construct Electrical Systems: Design and construct single-phase and multiphase electrical services for single or multi-meter installations.
  • Install and Repair Electrical Controls: Install and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, including underground wiring and cables.
  • Troubleshoot and Isolate Faults: Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults in residential and commercial structures.
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance programs to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure electrical systems are designed and constructed correctly.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for electrical projects.
  • Renovate Electrical Systems: Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Ground and Bond Electrical Equipment: Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures, including swimming pools and hot tubs.
  • Instruct Apprentices: Instruct apprentices in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
