Electrical Technician Role
  • Education: Completion of secondary school diploma
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in the field
Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain underground electrical wiring and cabling
  • Splice, connect, and join electrical wires
  • Conduct tests for voltage, load, ground faults, and circuit integrity
  • Identify materials and techniques suitable for hazardous environments
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults
  • Oversee and guide team members
  • Estimate project costs and required materials
  • Upgrade electrical systems in both residential and commercial properties
Community Support Initiatives
  • Engage in programs that assist newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, indigenous communities, and visible minorities
