About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Brake Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing tire removal, installation, and repair, as well as brake services and wheel alignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute front-end brake services, shocks, and wheel alignments.
  • Safely perform tire removal, installation, and repair for passenger and light truck vehicles.
  • Basic understanding and use of alignment machines, flush machines, oil lube and filter service.
  • Assist and perform mechanical inspections and services, including work order procedures, alignment, flush machines, and oil lube and filter service.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, consistently surpassing each client's expectations.

Requirements

  • Completion of Automotive Technician Program or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting and constantly moving throughout the day.
  • Motivated, positive attitude, respectful work environment, and develop team members in a positive atmosphere.
