About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meat Packager at CBC Trading Meat Wholesale Co. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe packaging of our meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
  • Packaging Operations: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Support Functions: Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, and provide support as needed to ensure smooth production operations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a team-oriented setting.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills necessary for this role.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Availability: Must be available for shift or on-call work.
