About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Kostas Meat Market & Deli. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean and prepare meats to ensure they are ready for processing or cutting.
  • Cut and Trim Meats: Cut and trim meats to standard cuts, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cut Poultry and Price Meat Products: Cut poultry into parts and price meat products, maintaining a thorough understanding of our pricing strategy.
  • Grind Meats and Maintain a Clean Environment: Grind meats and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Setting: Our retail butcher shop is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet customer demands.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
