About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Furniture Factory Operations Manager to join our team at Quality & Company Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Management

Develop and implement effective equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and recommend replacement of machines as needed.

Team Leadership and Development

Hire, supervise, and train or oversee the training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Inventory Management and Control

Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely and efficient production processes.

Process Improvement and Innovation

Plan and implement changes to machinery, equipment, production systems, and methods of work to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Financial Management and Planning

Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial stewardship.

Operational Oversight and Evaluation

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 5 years or more of experience in a related field.

Work Environment and Conditions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with a large workload.

Personal Qualities and Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong judgement, organized, reliable, and a team player with excellent values and ethics.
