We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizzitaliana. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other Italian dishes to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, salads, and other Italian specialties.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and take steps to minimize waste and optimize resource usage.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized and maintained.

  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
