Job Title: Vendor Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Analyst to join our team at McCarthy Tétrault. As a Vendor Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing our vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with our procurement policies, and driving cost savings through effective contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor contracts, including contract extensions, renewals, and terminations.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Conduct vendor performance evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize procurement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and process improvements.
  • Manage vendor onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain vendor scorecards, tracking key performance indicators and providing regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
