We require your expertise to build a world-class team
The CSA Group is dedicated to achieving an ideal: making the world a better, safer, and more sustainable place. Facilitating the development of Canadian Electrical Code Part III and Electrical Utility Standards by CSA Group volunteer committee members; Identifying, securing, and managing growth in new areas of standardization associated with Grid Modernization; Establishing and actively overseeing project processes and schedules, resource requirements (e.g., funding, personnel, membership), costs, quality, and risk; Daily management of committee activities, achieving project milestones and revenue targets; Organizing in-person and virtual committee meetings; Collaborating with internal and external partners, including clients, management, legal, and finance, to develop proposals, contracts, and financial analyses for new projects; Participating in occasional ad-hoc internal task groups (e.g., related to business or process improvement, research, etc.); and Other related responsibilities.

This dynamic role necessitates a solid understanding of the various processes and procedures of CSA Group, many of which are mandated under the accreditation by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). A crucial aspect of the Project Manager role is to ensure adherence to these processes and procedures while achieving project timelines within the defined budget. The role emphasizes management, leadership, and interpersonal skills; however, it also requires the ability to discuss complex subjects as a credible professional.
