Position Overview

As an Assistant Manager at Norm's Pizza, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

You will be working in a dynamic setting that includes:

  • Restaurant
  • Food service establishment
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and determine the types of services to be provided and implement operational protocols.
  • Manage cash flow and complete financial documentation including balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for staff members.
  • Oversee inventory management and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to marketing strategies and their execution.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues.
  • Train staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.
  • Develop budgets and cost estimates.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Establish effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are upheld.
  • Recruit food service personnel.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will oversee a team of:

  • 5-10 staff members
  • Working groups across various responsibilities
  • General cooks

  • Food Safety Certificate
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience with point of sale systems
