The Director of Product (AI/ML) is a proactive leader, recognized for their ability to solve complex challenges and foster relationships across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the intricacies of product management within the AI/ML domain. The Director will guide the Product Management team, collaborating closely with the Global Head of Product, VP of Engineering, and Head of Design to prioritize and manage a comprehensive backlog of software requirements for both internal and customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with specialized AI/ML Engineering teams to create innovative AI solutions, including virtual assistants and recommendation systems. Spearhead AI/ML advancements that enhance user engagement with Guidepoint platforms. Manage product management operations while formulating and executing a strategic roadmap for core AI/ML offerings. Facilitate agile development processes, encompassing quarterly planning, metrics analysis, sprint planning, and deliverable management. Oversee comprehensive product rollout strategies, including training sessions, documentation, virtual demonstrations, and in-person presentations. Conduct meetings with diverse stakeholders to identify and prioritize software development and business process enhancements. Negotiate vendor contracts in partnership with finance and business teams. Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and visual prototypes for stakeholder evaluation. Collect feedback and secure approvals from relevant stakeholders before and after development phases.Qualifications:
7 to 15 years of pertinent experience in product management. Proven leadership experience managing a team of Product Managers. Strong grasp of the Generative AI landscape and its practical applications. Experience in utilizing cutting-edge AI models to address complex challenges. Demonstrated success in collaborating with stakeholders to develop and launch AI/ML-focused products and services. Familiarity with Agile methodologies as a product manager for at least 1-2 years. Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle. Experience with quarterly planning processes. High level of empathy towards user challenges. Innovative thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving. Background in one of the following areas: business (finance or healthcare), UX design, or technology.Benefits:
