Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Project Lead to join our team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The successful candidate will lead a diverse group of professionals on various civil and geotechnical projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage geotechnical programs for a range of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
  • Conduct slope stability analysis and design retaining structures, utilizing advanced geotechnical design software
  • Complete geotechnical design for a variety of structures, including foundations and embankments, with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Support mining and civil projects, providing technical solutions and mentoring to junior staff
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members
  • Contribute to project management and business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and growth areas

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a strong track record of project leadership and management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in geotechnical design software, including AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards
  • Experience in tailings management facilities is an asset, with a focus on environmental sustainability and safety
