Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at William Osler Health System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care and ensure the comfort and safety of patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Quality Control: Perform daily quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Requirements
  • Education: Current CMRITO and CAMRT registration.
  • Certifications: Certified with Ontario Breast Screening Program required; Mammography certification an asset.
  • Experience: Recent experience within the last two years in a diagnostic imaging setting.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; ability to organize workload effectively; demonstrated ability to foster an environment that facilitates effective teaching and learning relationships.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 8-hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to travel between and work at all Osler sites.
