Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Role

At William Osler Health System, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and obtaining technically diagnostic studies in accordance with protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scanning imaging procedures and invasive techniques as outlined in the protocol/procedure manuals, including administering contrast media, conducting image reconstruction, and operating, troubleshooting, and ensuring medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Prepare written documentation of procedures as required.
  • Perform patient assessments and participate in the accurate maintenance of the patient's records.

Requirements:

  • Current CMRITO registration.
  • Current CPR.
  • Recent contrast CT experience preferred.
  • X-ray experience required.
  • Contrast injection certification required.
  • Cross-sectional anatomy courses required.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize workload effectively.
  • Physical ability to perform the expected job duties.
  • Ability to operate required equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation, and Collaboration.
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work record.
  • Ability to travel and work between all Osler sites if required.
