Your Responsibilities

As a member of CIBC Wood Gundy, you will be responsible for creating and growing client portfolios at Wood Gundy through specialized relationship management, reliable investment advice, and exceptional client service. As a client associate, you will work closely with a team of CIBC Wood Gundy investment advisors to help them manage their client portfolios and establish new business relationships. You will communicate directly with high-net-worth clients to provide support, identify business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Client Mobilization – Prioritize each client's experience and establish a personal relationship to make every interaction meaningful. Anticipate client needs and communicate quickly with your team to establish trust and deepen client relationships. Find activities, processes, and opportunities to improve the client experience.

  • Business Expansion – Proactively find business opportunities for your team. Work closely with investment advisors to support business expansion activities and contribute to the development of client-centric investment plans based on client profiles, objectives, and risk tolerance relative to return.

  • Relationship Building – Promote the CIBC brand in your community by participating in local events and engaging in marketing and outreach activities. Expand your network to create lasting connections that will bring future opportunities.
