Job Summary

As an Apprentice Electrical Specialist with Strike Group, you will possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems installation, connection, testing, and maintenance for various purposes, including climate control, security, lighting, power sources, and communications. Our team works on local and site projects throughout Western Canada, and we expect employees to uphold a culture of safety and adhere to our Code of Conduct and Values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, alter, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
  • Plan layouts and illustrations of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
  • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with codes.

Requirements

  • Must be a registered Apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
