Objective

The selected candidate will serve as a key resource within the maintenance division, focusing on ensuring the reliability of equipment across the East Canada Pipelines and Terminals to uphold operational stability in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards for reliability, environmental safety, and health
  • Conduct thorough monitoring of processes under your purview
  • Identify essential equipment and maintain its operational readiness
  • Perform failure analyses, propose solutions, and oversee their implementation
  • Maintain the CMMS system (SAP PM) with current data
  • Determine training requirements for tools, instruments, and devices necessary for equipment maintenance
  • Engage in projects and provide technical support for equipment design
  • Work collaboratively with Planners, Supervisors, and Maintenance Managers
  • Offer technical assistance to maintenance technicians
  • Participate in scheduled major shutdown operations
  • Coordinate critical tasks for significant equipment repairs
  • Contribute to annual maintenance budget assessments
  • Enhance expertise and build a network of reliability professionals through training and conferences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in mechanical reliability, maintenance, planning, or oil operations
  • Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers
  • Technical expertise across various disciplines: mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, etc.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA) processes and SAP PM software is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical thinking

This role may involve occasional travel.
