Job Title: Assistant Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and providing leadership and coaching to our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen operations strategies.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
