Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Scanlon Mart. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign sales workers to duties, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Train and develop staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control expenses, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and take initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
