We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our High-Rise Procurement Team at Empire Communities. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing standards, procedures, and methodologies to optimize construction cost planning and budget management practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of cost planning and budget management strategies.
- Provide cost consulting, quantity take-offs, and project construction budgeting support.
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies and provide leadership, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support to team members.
- Prepare and analyze general condition breakdowns and complete estimates and reports ready for sign-off.
- Work with the team to optimize construction cost planning and budget management practices.
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Construction Management or relevant field of study.
- Working towards PQS designation or member of CIQS/RICS.
- 5+ years of experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or contract administration within the High-Rise residential construction industry.
- Strong knowledge in elemental cost analysis.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Skilled in interpreting construction drawings and other technical documents used in residential construction.
- Excellent knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, and On Centre.
