Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab/Short Stay Unit at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to the development of our nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient progress
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Completion of a post-graduate critical care course or one year of recent experience in a critical care or equivalent setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
